Education Outside the Classroom

EOTC programmes provide students with access to hands-on experiences that are not available inside the classroom. Through EOTC programmes students can learn vital skills in team building and leadership. They have experiences that help their ability to overcome limitations and grow their confidence. These programmes are aligned with the National Curriculum.

EOTC camps and trips include learning experiences linked to the current big learning focus. These are a chance to build authentic learning experiences to reinforce classroom work. 

All students will have the opportunity to attend camp during their two years at Maidstone Intermediate – even years are a camp of three days long and odd years are locally based day excursions. We appreciate that camp costs can be financially challenging for some families. We can provide some support with this.
