Notifying an Absence
Arriving at the kura in good time is important as frequent lateness adds up to missing valuable learning time
If your tamaiti arrives at kura after 8:50am they will need to sign in at the Office on VisTab.

To report your tamaiti absent, for any reason, please use one of the following:

Leave a message on our absence line - phone 04 528 3094.
Please state your tamaiti name, room number, and a reason for the absence. Please do not email absence notifications to classroom kaiako.
Should we receive no notification of absence, Maidstone Intermediate will then contact you via text to find out the whereabouts of your tamaiti. Regular attendance is required by law. Maidstone requests whānau cooperation with this.
Leave During Kura Hours
If you are taking your tamaiti out of kura early, you must personally collect them from the Office and they must be signed out on VisTab.
Whānau are not permitted onto the kura grounds unless they have first signed in and collected a visitor sticker.
